Latest news on beef imports to China

The General Administration of Customs (GACC) has announced the suspension of import declarations for all French beef products. According to the latest information from GACC, starting from September 5, 2024, the import declarations for beef products shipped from France to China will no longer be accepted. The reason for the suspension has not yet been disclosed. A total of eight French beef production facilities are affected, and as of now, all import declarations for French beef products have been fully suspended.
