In the first two months of 2023, China's cumulative import of meat and meat products amounted to US$4.806 billion, an increase of 21.81% year-on-year. According to customs statistics, in February, China imported US$2.221 billion of meat and meat products, an increase of 17.32% year-on-year; the imported quantity was 600,600 tons, an increase of 21.99% year-on-year. In the first two months, China's cumulative import of meat and meat products was US$4.806 billion, an increase of 21.81% year-on-year, and the imported quantity was 1.2764 million tons, an increase of 22.39% year-on-year. In terms of market, the top ten countries/regions for China's meat and meat product imports in the first two months were Brazil, the United States, New Zealand, Spain, Argentina, Australia, Uruguay, Denmark, the Netherlands, and Canada, accounting for 87.87% of China's imports of this product. In the first two months, Brazil was China's main market for meat and meat products imports, with an import value of US$1.547 billion, an increase of 122.93% year-on-year. In February, the import value was US$713 million, an increase of 75.18% year-on-year.
