Up until 14th Feb, the average price of live hogs have increased for 5 days and reached 14.8rmb/kg, increased by 5.34%. Pork prices have fluctuated between 13.8rmb/kg and 15.8rb/kg for the recent month. After lunar new year holiday, the consumers market became weaker leading to a modest increase in pork prices in Feb. And because of the sheer quantity of pigs been slaughtered and sell to the market, the length of price growth will be limited for the rest of this month.
