According to data collected from 500 wholesales markets in China, the price of live hog, pork, poultry, beef and lamb have all increased.

Live hog and pork prices: The average live hog price is 44.96 RMB per KG, increased by 1.1% compared with the week before. Pork price in southeastern part of China is relatively higher, at around 40.43 RMB per KG, while that of the northern region is around 37.15 RMB per KG.

Poultry price: The average chicken price is around 25.30 RMB per KG, increased by 0.6% compared with the previous week, increased by 16.6% compared with the same time in 2021.

Lamb and beef price: The average beef price is around 88.24 RMB per KG, increased by 0.2% compared with the previous week, increased by 3.0% compared with the same time in 2021. The average lamb price is around 83.01 RMB per KG, increased by 0.2% compared with the previous week, increased by 0.7% compared with the same time last year.
