On 28th August 2022, the 3rd 828 Frozen Product Exchange Festival held by Coldeal has achieved great success. This year’s 828 festival was themed as ‘Optimize supply chain to provide sound service for suppliers and demanders’. It combined seven virtual venues in China, Australia, Canada, and Vietnam and one offline venue in Qingdao. All the eight channels were live-streamed simultaneously covering topics and in-depth dialogues of international trade, supply chain finance, dining business, central kitchen for pre-made meals, cold chain logistics, cold chain warehouse etc. Distinguished diplomats from foreign embassies in China and leaders from China’s cold chain industry and municipal government have participated in the event. Audience from 17 countries watched and participated in this year’s 828 live-stream from the USA, Japan, Malaysia, India, Germany, Romania, Canada, the Philippines, Finland, Australia, Britain and Indonesia.
Afterwards, Mr.Song made virtual connection with representatives from seven branch venues and introduced the highlight of each venue.In Beijing main venue, Mr. Song signed strategic cooperation agreements with leaders from Hengyu Group, China-Brazil Investment Development&Trade Center, Heilongjiang Foreign Economy and Trade Group, and Beijing Chengshunfa Technology Co., Ltd.
Qingdao Venue: In the Qingdao offline Venue, leaders of Qingdao municipal government, President of China cold chain industry investment group Mr.Lin Ren, , head of CCII Shandong operation center Ms. Liyun Tang, Qingdao Industry Association, Qingdao media and cold chain industry representatives gathered in Qingdao Venue for the 3rd 828 Frozen Product Exchange Festival. During the event, Ms.Natalia Cortes, Trade Commissioner of the Embassy of Chile delivered an on-line presentation to introduce Chile’s meat and aquatic product development in China and expressed her sincere greetings for this year’s 828 Festival. Leaders of Qingdao Customs and Qingdao Port Group shared their professional analysis on key topics in the cold chain industry. Surrounded by warm wishes from Qingdao government leaders and industry representatives, CCII Shandong Operation Center was officially launched and signed strategic cooperation agreements with Qingdao Meat Association, Qingdao Catering Association and other enterprises to conduct in-depth cooperation on strengthening the upstream and downstream collaborative development of the cold chain industry and the integration of industrial chain resources.
Beijing—Central Kitchen Venue:The Central Kitchen Venue was broadcast live in the R & D center of Beijing Julihe Group. Kep topics such as pre-made meals, cold chain logistics and storage, the future outlook of cold chain industry were discussed.
Canada-Calgary Venue: Mr. Maxim Berdichevsky, Trade Counsellor of the Embassy of Canada made on-line opening remarks. He noted that Canada and China have a deep shared history including Canada playing a key role of a reliable partner in ensuring China’s food security and highlighted the wide variety of Canadian seafood that has found a place of pride on the tables of Chinese consumers, driven by Canada’s focus on, and reputation for, quality and food safety. And then Official Representative of Canada Sunterra Group(plant 604) made virtual presentation from Calgary to cover Canada’s pork industry advantages, export situation and investment opportunities in Canada’s meat sector.
Beijing-Restaurant Venue: This activity took place in CCII’s newly launched restaurant ’Love To Meat U’located in the center of Beijing. Mr. Sergio Della Valle, Consul of the Embassy of Uruguay and Mr. Andres Armas, Commercial Counsellor of the Embassy of Ecuador attended the activity by visiting the restaurant and making remarkable presentations to promote Uruguayan beef and Ecuadorian shrimp while the delicious beef and shrimps were cooked on the site. This activity attracted a great number of audience during the live-stream and aroused wide enthusiasm about Uruguayan beef and Ecuadorian shrimp.
Beijing-Supply Chain Finance Venue: The Bank of Nanjing was invited to the Supply Chain Finance Venue to talk about key topics of global foreign currency market and supply chain products as financial difficulties are a big concern for small and medium enterprises in cold chain industry.
Australia-Melbourne Venue: Representative of Australia’s CMG Group and Chairman of Tianjin Chengyuan International Trade co.,ltd. were invited to the Australia Venue to discuss issues relating to the currently most concerned topics in red meat trade between China and Australia. CMG Group representative shared valuable first-hand information relating to the Australian upstream supply end. During the live-stream, CMG group displayed an exclusive video taken on CMG cattle farm which showed the audience the whole process of how cattle were selected and raised and the living conditions of cattle.
Chinese Wholesales Markets Venue:
Business owners in major wholesales markets in Zhengzhou, Suzhou and Chengdu demonstrated their products during livestream and showcased how to use Coldeal APP to complete an order and track their orders by simple clicks on their mobile phones.
Vietnam -Dong Thap Province Venue
Vietnam’s famous IDI Group took the audience on a tour to witness the whole process of Basa fish breeding and manufacturing in IDI factory. Representative of IDI Group and leader from Wuhan Freshmate Supply Chain co.,ltd. discussed interesting topics about aquatic trade between China and Vietnam and introduced the current supply end situation in Vietnam.
