In March 2022, Chinese domestic pork price stood at around 12.5 RMB per KG and then it started to rise. In July, Chinese domestic pork price once increased by 80% reaching 22.5 RMB per KG. Since pork price’s continuous increase since April 2022, Chinese pig farmers were growing more and more proactive in expanding productivity. From April to July, there has been 3500 new pig raising and pork production companies established in China.
